Heroes Foundation Adds Heather Lloyd As Content Coordinator

INDIANAPOLIS —The Heroes Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Heather Lloyd in the newly created role of Content Coordinator.

A former news anchor and reporter, Heather Lloyd spent five years writing for the Indianapolis Colts and ingrained herself in the Indianapolis community telling stories about the players, cheerleaders, and fans. From schools to hospitals, the stories she told and the relationships she formed will help her bring stories from the Indiana cancer community to light with empathy and understanding.

“I am excited about Heather’s addition to the Heroes Foundation team,” said Chairman and Co-Founder Vince Todd. “Heather’s storytelling experience and personal ties to cancer are a natural fit with the foundation’s mission and how we go about achieving it. Heather understands and embraces our vision and her passion will be an asset in helping us realize it.”

Lloyd is helping to launch The Summits Blog, where she’ll share stories of hope, inspiration, and survival while keeping readers up to date on Heroes Foundation events and industry news.

“I’ve had some very important people in my life diagnosed with cancer. I’m constantly amazed at the progress we’ve made, yet keenly aware that we have so much more work to do,” said Heather Lloyd. “Whether you’re fighting cancer, treating patients, or caring for a loved one – you are not alone. I want to share uplifting stories and bring people together in the fight against cancer.”
