Sept. 16 #PIFF Party for the Heroes Foundation

Fourth annual event at Flat12 Bierwerks backs Central Indiana cancer community

INDIANAPOLIS — Everyday heroes are invited to “pay it forward Friday” to the Central Indiana cancer community during the Heroes Foundation’s fourth annual #PIFF Party at Flat12 Bierwerks on Sept. 16. During the 2015 #PIFF Party, 325 party-goers raised more than $30,000, and event organizers expect those numbers to grow in 2016.

With a low $25 admission cost, most anyone 21 and older who wants to make a difference — and enjoys a good beer — can be a hero at the #PIFF Party.

“We all know people who have been affected by cancer. The Heroes Foundation offers ordinary people ways to make an impact on the local cancer community,” says Vince Todd, Jr., cancer survivor, and co-founder and chairman of the 16-year-old organization.

Get your crew together and join us to raise funds to support the Heroes Foundation’s mission: to provide meaningful support to cancer patients, education to promote cancer prevention and resources to advance research for a cure.

WHAT: #PIFF Party, raising funds for the Heroes Foundation. A portion of every purchase of craft beer from Flat12 Bierwerks will go back to the Heroes Foundation. Enjoy live music from Dave and Rae, good eats from Hoagies and Hops (available for sale) and the company of others who care about the Central Indiana cancer community. All proceeds benefit the Heroes Foundation.

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 16, 8 p.m.-12 a.m.

WHERE: Flat12 Bierwerks, 414 N. Dorman St., Indianapolis
